Net Worth Calculator
Your net worth is everything you own minus everything you owe. List your assets, such as savings, investments, property and gold, and your loans, and the calculator sets them out as a balance sheet you can print.
What are you worth today?
List everything at today’s value: what it would sell for now, not what you paid. For loans, enter the amount still outstanding. Leave anything that doesn’t apply blank.

A balance sheet always balances: what you own equals what you owe plus your net worth.
Net Worth Certificate (self-attested)
Turns your balance sheet into a one-page certificate with a declaration that you sign yourself. It is not a Chartered Accountant’s certificate: where a bank, embassy or tender asks for a CA-certified net worth certificate, you will need one from a CA.
Enter your assets and loans above first.

The method
How it works
- 01Assets: bank balances, investments, property, gold, retirement accounts and anything else of value.
- 02Liabilities: home, car, personal and education loans, credit card dues and other debts.
- 03Net worth = total assets − total liabilities. If you owe more than you own, it shows as a shortfall.
Questions
Asked often
Why track net worth?
It is the simplest single measure of financial progress. Checking it once a year shows whether you are moving forward, even when individual investments rise and fall.
Should I include my house?
Yes, at a realistic value, along with its loan. Some people also look at net worth without the home they live in, since that is not money they would spend.
Is the printed statement an official certificate?
No. It is a self-attested statement for your own records. Visa or loan applications usually need one certified by a chartered accountant.
